17 days in .....

HI All, I am new to this site, I had my last cigarette on the 02 October at 21:30.
It was a last minute decision to quit, I did 2 weeks on Patches but they were making me feel really nauseous so I went cold turkey. To be honest I have found it a lot harder without the patches but still haven't had a puff. Which in it self for me is FANTASTIC. x
My hubby has suggested i get a lower patch to put on but i kind of think now I am on day 5 with no patch and I should just push through each day I am learning to hold my tongue, esp around my kids .. When they start bickering that's when I would normally go out in the garden shut the back door and have a ciggie.
Now i just potter in the kitchen.
I have changed most routines, i don't go outside at work at all anymore. On a morning when I wake up i go straight into the shower.
I am using a fake cigarette called a ten motive and this helps too.
I use it when the cravings are really bad .
I have had really bad temper tantrums putting toddlers to shame over the minute little thing.
(Brief over view, I am a working mother of 4 children all living at home , a daughter aged 20 years, 3 sons aged 12 years, 9 years and 6 years.) My 12 year old has Attention Deficit Hyper activity Disorder and is also on the Autistic Spectrum . So live is fairly hectic.
But I can do this....

Karen, you are doing great. Keep it up. When the cravings get less consider going outside at work again and replacing the routine of smoking with the routine of deep breathing or taking a little walk! You can do this!
