This is proving difficult

I am constantly thinking about not smoking, I changed my morning routine and waited two hours before I had a cigarette, I had one and now feel guilty and drugged. I have a patch on and have set a time of 7pm before I will have another cigarette. I don't know if this is a reasonable way to quit, I just don't feel like throwing away my last four cigarettes. This is the last packet I buy.

we all get the jumping off place a bit differently from what I have read, but I think we all have to get to place where we have had enough.
so you are right on track !!

Hi and welcome Annas. The fact that you're constantly thinking about not smoking is a good sign. I also felt that way for quite some time til something inside me snapped and got me to take it seriously and do something to get started. The rest is history.....I am 42 days smoke free and never felt better. There is no reasonable way to quit....it is so different for everyone, just do whats right for you, take small steps one day at a time. Keep reading these stories for inspiration and keep posting on your progress. Good luck and stay positive.

Hi Annas , congratulations for standing up to nicotine, well done on starting to set boundaries, this how you're journey of being a non smoker starts , have you considered using a prescription medication off you're doctor, as I am using champix and for a person who smoked 50 a day for 30 years plus, I have found my journey a lot easier than previous attempts with the use of patches, gum sprays et , I have been a non smoker for 6 days and I don't use patches et cold turkey.
So stay true to yourself by not buying another packet of cigarettes make you're last 4 you're last 4 , we're all here for you, and we're so excited and proud of you for firstly posting you're feelings, expectations that is the most important part of the journey, come on Annas you can and will quit, be strong sweet heart muwa 😀💋🐾
