Kicking the habit to the curb

Hi, I know there is so many of you out there willing to help others quit, I'm calling upon you.
I've been a smoker for around 6 years, however I've never been a pack a day smoker.
I'm starting to get worried for my health.
I've recently been getting headaches and I need to kick this dirty habit to the curb!
I have anxiety and I'm always worrying about getting sick ect.
I would appreciate some tips and wise words.
Please help!
Thanks.

Hi kysh, there is no real easy way to give up as each method is just as challenging, but these methods are successful but only with your positives.
Every journey in life starts with a step, and you deciding to quit is your 1st step.
Be positive n determined, you can do it.

Hi Kysh. This journey is hard but it is worth it to get this toxic habit out of your life. I have tried many times over the years to quit and after 35 years of smoking I just said enough is enough (I smoked about half a pack a day as a secret smoker for last 6 years). I exercise, drink water, eat healthy, keep busy and read the advice of others on this site. I made a list and keep it in my wallet of why I quit eg my health, the money I save, no longer smell like an ashtray, do I want my cough to come back, antisocial, etc. I gave my toxic friend a name "Cruella de Ville" and told her to leave me alone when she kept trying to get back in my life. Jenno is right be positive and determined. The first step is to set a quit date - you can do it!
