New & Looking for an old inspirational story that was on here

I plan on starting today. There was a story in here I found when I was doing research about a long term smoker who quit cold turkey. They didn't change anything in their home, kept the ashtrays etc. They simply went with the cravings and felt them when they occurred. I found this story so inspirational & strengthening. Does anyone know where I could find it again? Thanks everyone & blessings on everyone's endeavors!!!

Hi Julie, today is a new day into your journey into the world of quitting.
My journey sounds similar to this person you are describing.
I was a smoker for 45+ years and towards the end smoking 60+ @ day, I smoked rollies White Ox. I didnt think I was giving up smoking but 2 days prior I had just smoked less then I said to myself I would just see if I could go all day without a smoke, well I did the less smokes for 2 days then as of today I have not had a smoke for 20 weeks and that was cold turkey. I think in many ways smoking gave up on me.
I still have my container of tabacco and prerolled smokes on the table beside me, the ashtrays now are on the back table,
As for cravings it will always be apart of a exsmokers way of life, but you have to strong and determined to be the winner over nicotine.
Put your mind to your goals and give it your best shot.
You can do it.
