Set that date!

Hey people of the world.
Man it makes a difference putting down that quit date and having a count of how many days it has been.
I am at 3 days and this is the most serious time that I am quitting in my life! My partner smokes and I am quitting while they are away on business... So I can go crazy in private! It is working!
Seeing that 3 days have passed is cool because my mind wants to overestimate the days but it is alas, only 3!
Still. Proud of myself and cravings are pretty baseline constant right now... The true test has begun.
Love all of you beautiful people on this site regardless of your smoking status. The main thing is that people embrace quitting culture because cigs kill and hurt your mouth... So regardless of their benefits you gotta limit or cut them out!
Not many people can limit smoking so quitting is emphasized.
As for Cancer. Read about fresh fruit and vegetables, fungicides, goddam aliens if you have to!
Cigarettes, Fluoride and Meat... Get em reduced as much as you can. Prefferably quit but listen to your body!!! Never hurt other people and always be kind to your creative projects.
I think you gotta quit smoking to do exercise and that is much better for mental health and happiness than smoking...
Imagine dancing!

Keep it up Kiva. I know what you mean about your mind wanting to overestimate the number of days it has been since you quit. I understand how long the days feel early in your quit when you going through all sorts of strange feelings. I am now on my 43rd day and believe me once you get past the forst two to three weeks, things get a heck of a lot easier. The cigarette fog clears and you start feeling that it is normal not to smoke. All the best with your quit!!!
