Be aware they are not side effect free..

Different people get different side effects and if you have ever suffered from depression or mood disorders your doc wont prescribe them.

there are heaps of other NRT therapies, gum patches and mints that work too..

You have relied on cigarettes and now you seem to be replacing one drug with another. When I read about the possible side effects of Champix I saw red and decided cold turkey was the way to go. It is now day 128. Can still see that ashtray with the 5 butts that Saturday morning when I found this site, liked the posts people had put up and decided to join them. Best decision ever... Some of us just can't only do it with our heads and go cold turkey..

I used champix didn't work well with me! So I looked into a place called quit4good. They are based in nsw. They sell oral strips that you use for a month! They cost about $200, but I thought that's 2 weeks worth of smokes! I swear they were fantastic and worked for my withdrawal/cravings, I didn't have any! Even though I've been smoking for 37 years and only quit once for a week! but once you finish them its up to you to keep going. I'm on day 57 and yes this site has inspired and helped me to go on, knowing that others are feeling the same as me!
