Day 10 Champix
I am on day 10 of champix and feeling terrible. The dreams are awful, and I feel very sick after the tablets. I have had half a cigarette today. Anyone else had these side affects please?
Hi JJ68 I was on Champix when I first tried to quit a coupe of years ago experienced extreme vivid nightmares, the sick feeling went away after awhile just needed to let my body get use it. If the side effects persist best to speak with your GP to explore if there is another alternative i.e medication, other treatments. I found using patches, gum and inhaler a great back up and don't use medication this time around coming up to 30 days smoke free. It can be challenging at times to find the right combination for you, bet thing is to keep persisting and exploring all the alternatives out there that will keep you off the smokes. I should have given up completely now and I am not sure what happens if I still have the occasional smoke while on champix
Hi JJ68. I tried the Champix but found the side effects tough going. I didn't succeed that time. This time I use net lozenges and have found that sucking on those and the lovely people on this site have helped me to 125 smoke free days. I also made sure there were no smokes in the house. Everyone is different and if you read the stories different strategies work for different people.
