Best tip ever is to name your habit after the person that caused you nothing but trouble and is no longer in your life. When you really want to smoke it reminds you that you haven't lost a friend, you have stopped associating with a malicious harmful entity.

Love it, Have heard just about every way to help, but that one is a new one. It's great. Now I have to think of a name lol
Seems to be working for me so far. "She" gobbles up money, makes it hard to breathe and generally hasn't got anything going for her.

Some wise one on this site told me she called the craving Margaret Thatcher. After greeting her with some expletives every morning for a few days it worked... Best name ever for a craving. Am now up to day 34 smoke free after 44 years of smoking.
