I have smoked since the age of 16. I have quit more times than i would like to think. 6 years was the longest. We lost our son 2 months ago, so you can imagine cigarettes and no sleep have been my best friends. We had our last smoke New Years Day. My husband and i are both getting older and feeling the effects of smoking. We still have 3 wonderful children (teenagers) to raise and hang around for.. Life is hard at the moment, and i crave a cigarette every second. But we have so much to live for..

Hi TRiumph-girl, good job on your quit. Hang in there the crave won't last, ride it out however you can, change is partly in your mind as game. You both got this.

Sorry for your loss, Triumph-Girl. Stay on your quit though. You sound like you have so much to live for. And a family that obviously supports one another. You will get there. One day at a time. xx
