Sleeping Beauty

Hey everyone,

I've just completed one week smoke free for what feels like the millionth time in my attempt to remove the grasp smoking has on me. I'm on Champix, which is working well. I'm not bothered by not smoking, and the last week has been easy.

My only problem is, I'm so tired...all the time. I sleep heaps now, which I never used to. I slept over half the weekend away, I wake up at 5 for work, get to work at 7:30 to sleep at my desk until I start at 8, I sleep on my lunch break, and I'm asleep by 9-9:30pm each night.

When will this end? I'm sick of waking up tired.

Hi Candy

WELL DONE!!The sleeping does ease off so just hang in there. I also quit on Champix -499 days- never ever thought I could do it. Take the sleeping in your stride, maybe get a supplement to help boost your energy levels.

Keep up the good work!!

Thanks everyone. Despite feeling exhausted I still managed to get through my first ever kick boxing class, so today I have great reason to be tired. It felt great to be able to finish the entire class and not even think about lighting up when I left. One of the instructors for pole dancing went out for a smoke, walked past me and my God she stunk! It was disgusting.
