Champix take two

I am trying Champix for the second time in order to quit smoking. I had stopped for a few months, but gained excessive weight due to a hormone imbalance and picked up some cigarettes to stop myself from eating to try and lose some of the weight. Stupidest thing I've ever done.

I'm on day 5 of my treatment, and am planning to quit on Monday (day 8). My relatively new partner is completely against cigarettes so I need this to work if I want to be with him. His birthday is coming up and I would really like to be able to be at his party and be able to drink and not have a filthy cigarette and upset him. 

I think this is the kick up the b*m I needed in order to quit forever, as he is absolutely amazing and I don't want to lose him. Fingers crossed.
