Feeling excited

I hate smoking!  In fact I get so angry with myself when I smoke.  It is such a waste of money, socially unacceptable and just down right smelly.  But......  I'm addicted - plain and simple.

In the last month I have tried to quit cold turkey several times without success.  It only takes the slightest hiccup in life and I'm down the shops buying a pack of those hideous cigarettes.

About 2 months ago I spoke to my doctor about the side effects of champix.  I asked a few friends what they thought and heard both positive and negative stories of the effects.

Long story short - I started my course of Champix on Saturday and so far have not had side effects.  I am still smoking, but have noticed a huge drop in cravings.  I think most times I now smoke, relates to habit.  I certainly have to change those habits.

I've set my quit date and am excited.

I'm on champix there fantastic they really work. Here what happened to me I smoke on the first week 26 a day that's the white tablets by day now we're on two a day of the blue ones I smoked 6 smokes . Day 10 3 day 11 1. Day 12 none. I simply lost my desire to smoke. No withdraws at all. I haven't smoked for 11 days now. My partner smokes I still don't want to. The only side affect I've had is nausea. But that is also going away as long as I eat before I take one I'm ok. Keep with it they work
