Couple of days ago supposed to be my Day1 but failed poorly after lunch. Anyway yestarday I have decided that today is D day,  after  reading all the encouraging  replies to my previous post (Thank You Everyone) I felt more confident and also thought of something that might help me stay focused when that cripling nasty urge we all""  know"" comes. I wrote down on paper things that I read here from all you guys and things that would keep me from forgetting all the BAD about smoking.

Almost half the wall behind my desk is covered with A4 printing paper, with msgs like : Quit Smoking & be Happy about it!, I am Non Smoker, Craving is a mindset, Choose not to be a Slave to Your Addiction, You Can Do It etc etc + a list with what I would save weekly, monthly, yearly. And, to make it even better i wrote on a cigarrette with a marker "POISON"and sticky tape it on top of my pc ,cant miss it .

It might sound crazy but today the plan worked for me.I'm doing it coldurkey so i need all the help and ideas i can get :D

Good Luck Everyone and Congrats to all Non Smokers!!!:)

Throw out everything that even reminds you of smoking. You are a non-smoker now.

Stick up one piece of paper with CONGRATULATIONS on it. You deserve that.

I'm with you on day 1. Mine was supposed to be 12th August, then it was...then...then 1st Sep. So now it's done and here we are as non-smokers. I'm a lot more tired today but feel like I'm already listening to my body a bit better. We're out of the cage Eliss!
