My second attempt to quit this year

schedule 10 Jun 2014

I tried to quite earlier this year, and made the mistake of letting myself smoke every second weekend when I didnt have my daughter. I did quite fully for around a month, then started smoking every second weekend. Then I started every weekend. Then during the week again, and now I have winded up back at squre one.  I am a single parent and can barely afford to smoke, let alone what it's doing to my health and setting a bad example for my daughter also.  I just want to get back on track again. I haven't been to the gym in a long time since I started smoking full time again either.  I think it could have something to do with the fact that it's winter also, however smoking has definately affected my willingness to go to the gym also.  I just want to start over!

Hi there! Congrats on making the decision! Now you just need to find the best route for you. For myself champix has been amazing, 21 days smoke free and not suffering! I used to do the same things as you, allowing myself to only smoke weekends or special events, etc.. But I always ended up back full time smoking. It is brave to try and do it just on willpower but if you need help I would definitely suggest champix. Best of luck to you!
