Want to totally quit but dont know how

Hi Guys
This is my first time to this site and i really hope it will help me. I started Champix 01 April 2014, day fourteen i decided to stop smoking as i was still smoking like i normally did even on the pills. It's now day 42 on Champix and i still take a puff here and there. Not because i want to but because i can. Everyone in my household smokes so its' very difficuilt for me to see them smoking. I have no idea what to do. The only time it doesnt bother me is when im at work . Noboddy smokes there so im fine. What can i do that will help me stop completely. I really do not want to start smoking like i used to again!!!!!!!!!!!

One thing that assisted me was exercising the day I decided to go smoke free. 5km walk every day for 3 weeks then incorporated running. i.e. 4 km walk 1 km run until I could run the hole distance and beyond. Running might not be your thing so think of something you enjoy doing and do it. Not saying it will work for everyone but worked for me and still is.

I live with a smoker. I have been unable to quit without their support. Slowly and gradually over the years, we have cut down together. Slowly my Partner began to appreciate my efforts. He now says I am an inspiration. We are having smoke free days. Our household is completely smoke free. Make your housemates your quit buddies.

I hope you have managed to stop smoking as i can see this is an old post. You can set the example for the others and they might stop too. No matter it is your decision and your life you are trying to save.
