Cutting Down

I am now a ten a day smoker. Down from fifty five, eighteen years ago. I am weaning myself off them. The other day I went 28 hours without a smoke. This is making me feel alot better. My Husband is now supportive. He is smoking about two a day and I am having five. Life is better. I notice what a waste of space I am if my Puppy wants a cuddle and I am smoking. We all deserve better than that. My breathing is easier. I am not loseing as much sleep from asthma. This means my temperament is better. I am not as fatigued during the day. I still need naps from healing though. I am not eating enough fruit. I find it easier to prepare vegetables each day than to have sweet stuff. I am finding my vegetables sweet. I am still finding I smoke when I get tired and don't care about myself anymore. However that is happening less often. As I said- sometimes I have a nap or just go to bed.

55 cigarettes a day? Is that even possible? If yes, then man that's a lot!!! Good to know that you have lowered down! Gud luck .. bye!
