I gave up cold turkey 6 months ago and found that taking up exercise the same day helped me. The first month I walked 5km everyday. The 2nd month I ran the last km. The 3rd month I ram 2.5km and so on. I now run 25 - 30km a week. That's after 29 years of smoking. You can quit. Good luck.

I am 8 days into cold turkey after 30 years smoking. When a craving comes I just remind myself that I dont smoke anymore and if I was to cave I would dissapoint myself as I am just being self indulgent, its working for me so far.

Be strong, we can all do this.

Im 267 days smoke free after 30+ years of smoking. I stopped with Champix, it is absolutely worth quitting. I just wish I did it sooner. I can breathe when I do cardio and Ive regained my smell and taste.

Hang in there - its really worth quitting.
