So after 20 years of smoking I'm on my 3rd attempt at quitting.i have a 5 year old son who is my inspiration to quit.i want to be around for him for a long time to come and couldn't see that future with a death stick in my hand.im also overweight and have high cholesterol.thing is...these f@ckers have me by the balls.30 a day and I find it hard to manage stress without them, they are my crutch.sometimes I get so down/angry when quitting its scares me.

this time I've gone from 30 smokes down to 3 a day and today's dday.wish me luck I'm going  to need it! Using a spray for first time, so far it's helped with the reduction.

I wish you all the luck. I've smoked for 26 years and I gave up two weeks ago (cold turkey). It's been hard but I have the support of family, friends and pupils and I don't want to disappoint them. I think the most important is to keep in mind why you want to quit.

I have smoked for, i hate to admit this, but 43 years...I have tried many times before to quit...every time does get a little easier, but week 2 and you feel the benefits. Use the spray...make a punching bag to use for your frustration...You have done really well cutting down to 3 a day!!!! dont let 3 little death sticks stop you. Good luck...i look forward to reading more of your story as you progress.
