Iim 22yrs old with a five month old daughter. I stupidly decided to start smoking when I was around 14 I just dont want to anymore but I have extream difficults quiting. I Got married last yr and have just started a family, wanting to have my children close together I am currently 7 weeks pregnaunt. I am fully aware of how smoking will effect my children and I never smoke near my daughter but having a cigeret whilst pregnaunt makes me feel like a horrible person (and so it should) I will quit this time I swear it I just find it so difficult I don't know how to stop

My quit day is tomorrow and I will stick to it I'm just looking for some help

Hi there Emma i dont know what you can take while you are pregnant the only thing that i think would be safe would be hypnotherapy you should speak to your doctor before you take anything unless you are going cold turkey? Good luck and keep posting so we can see how you are going.

Lots of will power and lots of support - sounds easy doesn't it? It's not! The hypnotherapy is worth thinking about - there is someone who posts here regularly who successfully quit with it. Also meditation, relaxation classes, massage, reiki might help you relax and not stress over it so much. I have heard that acupuncture can be effective as well. It's going to be tough but it can be done and we're all here to support you - keep checking in even if it's just to vent when you're feeling it's all too much!
