using Quitline and Champix

Hi, that's great, a lot of people I know quit using it and they were heavy long term smokers. The quit line are also very supportive. Stay on here you will get heaps of support. Good luck.

Well done and good for you on deciding to quit it is so worth it. I am in Ireland and was using the quitline too .....I found them rude and insincere and frankly not helpful more annoying if I am honest. But I may have been unlucky. It was a low point and the person on the phone was not helpful ....never again. I recommend posting on here it's very supportive here. For me if it was not for here I would not have made it. I did the champix for the first month and stopped after that just could not stand the nausea . I went the rest on my own .... 3 months smoke free, so happy days. They were brilliant and really gave me a good boot into not smoking... all going well.
