Day 4

Hi everyone, thank you all for your support, it makes it so much easier to know I have so much help. Today woke up and thought time to get up for coffee and smoke, then felt disappointed that I couldn't have one, went out and had weetbix on my porch. Today I ate healthy food and am starting to actually enjoy water, your taste buds adjust after awhile. To all those worrying about weight gain eat lots of healthy food. I'm now eating fruits, nuts, diced cheese, having water before meals makes you feel fuller. The average amount of water you should have daily is your weight x 30 eg 70kilo x30 =2100 or 2 litres 100 ml. I've had about five cravings today the worst was this morning but it really does go if you distract yourself. I have been feeling flat today pushing myself to get though the day hopefully tomorrows better.

Hi Humble, well done on getting through your day. Not sure why but I too had a tough day. I have thought bout smoking since I got up. However staying strong and telling myself that I would be sooo disappointed if I did. Tommorrow will be a better day. Good job us!!!!
Well done humble and Nic. Keep encouraging one another and it does get easier. Still feeling down takes longer to goe though. Keep up the good work.

Day 2!!!!! I didn't even miss my first morning smoke! I got a big hug from my Son instead. Sooo much better... I've had two coffees though! I've got a headache and think I have something going on with my sinus? Makes my head feel yuk but that makes me not want a smoke so it's sort of a good thing! :-) Good luck everyone! WE CAN DO IT! I'm planning on doing something different everyday to get me through... Yesterday I did Yoga for the first time, today I'm going kayaking with a friend! YAY!
