Hey sazza,
Firstly congrats on your decision to quit. Just remember take it as is comes, 1 day at a time, 1 hour at a time, 1 minute at a time if gets to that. Dont put so much pressure on yourself, Quitting is about you and it's your own battle with nicotine addiction or sounds better saying road to recovery. Be gentle with yourself and honestly take it day by day..
Good luck and stay strong xx

Hi Sazza, you are in the right place, this site is a great support. You will succeed in quitting smoking this time... you give up for you and your health ... that is the motivator that will help you over the cravings....because you are the one that is going through them. It is a personal choice which method you use to quit with, whether it is patches, gum, will power or champix. I am using champix, just for many reasons , I went for the best chance of quitting for me...get's me on the road to giving up.Yes on the champix you set a quit date between day 5 and 14 of starting the champix. It does not matter which day you quit it will arrive and it is different for everyone. They help massively, you do not want to smoke at all. I was so apprehensive at first, about quitting, about what method to use, about judgement from others on what method !!! I joined this site and read all the posts, and helps keep you on track and keep the focus. Now I never look back, my skin looks better, I sleep better, proud of myself for doing this. You have all the support you need here, we are all rooting for you. Stay strong Sazza..you will be replying to someone like yourself in a few weeks. Take it easy their is a preparation period beforehand, figure out what method, what you triggers are, tips to help you. good luck and hope to hear from you soon ....take it easy we are all in this fight together...
