And so it begins.....

Ok, so here I am again....back in this same position of 'quitting' as I always as come the New Year :(
I'm 25, soon to be 26 and have been smoking pretty much full time since I was 13...nothing to be proud about, I'm actually really dissapointed within myself to have to read that back out aloud. To think back at the all the time and money I wasted on smoking...
Well, I'm not going to dwell on the past, I can't change any of that, but I can change my future & that starts now, with committing to giving to up for good! I really do feel more ready and willing this time, like I actually give a toss & want to do it for me and no-one else!
Day 1 is today (14/01.13), bring it on! I will not let niccotine rule my life! I will get through this no matter what, I am strong and have the willpower to succeed!! Wish me luck & good luck to all those fellow quitters, our journey is far from over :) xx

Hey! Great decision, good luck, wish I had done it at your age,I would be $50,000K richer.

Hey there, Well done on making the choice. Its not easy but its do-able. Wishing you all the best. Keep telling yourself that your a non-smoker and keep your reasons for quiting handy. I have been smoking since I was 14 and am now 28. i became a non-smoker about 6 years ago only to forget why i was doing it and picked the gross habbit back up again. Today to is the start of my new journey as a non-smoker, Im trying to be excited about the health improvements and finacial gains i will recieve by changing my life style and kicking this habit for good!! Wish you the best of luck!! Hang in there - you CAN do this,

Hi - today is day 2 for me as well - going really well, but like you tabien1984,I gave up for 4 years then took it back up - very disappointing! Doing it cold turkey same as last time, but interested to hear from anyone who has used patches. Good luck Nic succeed and carlyr87 - you can do it!
