Quitting with champix
Helloo, so im at day 6 of taking champix, im 29 female and have been smoking for 13years this December. I'm going alright, sleeping really well; no nightmares like from the stories ive read and No nausea. Just paranoia. I have started zoloft to keep me at bay however the zoloft wont take full affect for a few weeks. So i'll be going back to my gp to see what else i can take. Ive tried numerous different quit aids along the way, patches, cold turkey, lozenges, gum and even looked at the e-ciggarette.Ive never stuck with a quit aid till i started champix, ive met people along the way who have said they found themselves to be angrier since quitting but im prepared to deal with the consequences now rather then later. I dont know how i'll go when i stop smoking completely. Im sure i'll be fine but its definitly interesting and something to look forward to. But not.Went out for drinks 2 days ago and decided to try not smoking, ive never been out for drinks without smokes before so it was definitly a new experience, my friend was fine after i told him about it, there was no pressure to light up and i didnt till much later in the night. i gave into my cravings but im pleased with myself. hehe.Ive decided to stop smoking on the 11th day of being on champix.
Thankyou for the infomation Sard, i have been taken off the Zoloft and rather then taking 2 Varenicline tablets a day im back on 1 which is enough.
