Ok so i failed AGAIN!!!! I have started reading Easy way to quit smoking by Allen Carr. Makes a lot of sense and helps people to quit. Without willpower and cutting down and NRT etc. So fingers crossed i will finish the book soon and will keep everyone updated.

Don't try and find something/someone to do it for you. You have to do it yourself, the other things can help you but YOU are the one who has to want to give up smoking.

Spoken by one who is on day 82 after 53 years of smoking.

My partner has just gone to work and taken all the smokes. Feeling good but a little panicked

Which is normal. But normally I would have had at least 2 smokes when I got up to make his breakfast. NONE! Time to start starving the little nicotine monster. :)

As Allen Carr says, yes! Time to starve that little monster! Do not underestimate how demanding that little monster is. It will mess with your body and your head. BUT if you starve it for JUST FOUR DAYS IT WILL DIE. TRULY. For me, a packet a day of unfiltered camels for 40 years, those first 4 days cold turkey were very hard. I won't deny it. But from day 5, that little monster shrivels up and you will get back your life and self respect. And if you don't succeed this time, try again. Courage.!
