Quiting as from 10/8/2011

Hi all,
Just would like to say as from the 10/8/2011 i intend to give up the cancer sticks! i know its not easy and i have failed several times in the past, But just last week i went to visit my grandmother aged 78 with Emphysema, and within the next couple of years she will need oxygen to assit her breathing. Seeing a family memeber in that state really opened my eyes, and has made me more determined to give up smoking for good!

hey, Im doing ok i guess.. yet to have a smoke due to the help of patches and chewing a hell of alot of gum to the point my jaw is in pain. Its not easy with the deadlines that have to be made at work etc. As the saying goes, no pain no gain. I just hope it gets easier as the days go by
