Well, here I am at 40 days smoke free. I have been completely off Champix for about a week now and all is well.....I occasionally think about when I would've smoked and pat myself on the back when I completely haven't thought about smoking eg after a large meal or a coffee.
I was thinking about my reasons for why I wanted to quit. At the end of the day, nobody is gonna die healthy right? Unless eg. you get hit by a bus, someone shoots you, you drown....ok you get the gist. To be honest, health was part of it but the major part was, I was over being a slave to it, quality of life and then there's the cost/price, always going up.
Now that I've done it, I am so happy that I've saved money, I do not crave, plan how to get a smoke in, plan anything around smoking, do not smell like smoke or have smoke breath. My senses are much better, not sure that I enjoy that I can smell better.......some things were better unsmelled...if that makes sense lol.
So my goal of being smoke free before my holiday has been reached and I am off to Greece and the Greek Islands on Monday. My spirits are high, I'm so excited!!
