Starting out again

Posted in Getting started 31 May 2016

Damn my weakness. Dud a few days and then weakened - have been smoking 2 cigars a day for a week. I hate smoking and it's hold over me. I have found this site very helpful, as long as I log in every day and read everyones stories. Starting again tomorrow, I have so much to live for.

Hey Weewillem, we are here with you. Keep trying to stop and one day you will. Stay strong and find a chant that works for you or meditate. You will get there.

Hey Weewillem. Keep going. Take it a day at a time and don't punish yourself. You can give up for 24 hrs that's all it takes then do the same tomorrow. Good luck. Dobbin

Keep logging in everyday, i feel that has made a big difference hanging around non- smokers! You can do this .. ! If Quit smoking was easy to do, we would not be here!! Stay strong. Lighting up is not an option!! Its a choice to say no way!

I too have restarted after a previous attempt to beat this evil addiction on day 21 now and will not go back no matter what. I felt like I had failed myself and my daughter when I started to light up and have a sneaky one. The one thing I know is there is no failure only feedback to learn from my experience and make it more possible to stop once and for all. I know I can not have one and will use my saved money to live life and get out there with my daughter and experience new things. One less packet is more money for me and my daughter. Choice is the one thing we all have use it wisely and be kind to yourself.

Thanks so much for asking White Willow. I've just managed to go one day smoke free, so have made a start (again)
