Woke up thinking I needed a cigarette but

Posted in Quit experiences 29 Apr 2016

This morning I woke up then found myself walking around the front room thinking to myself what to do. Normally at this time I light up and smoke. I felt the urge to fill something, so I ate breakfast but then still felt some nagging need. I decided to take my own advice so I got on my son's bike and went around the block for about half an hour.

During the ride something incredible happened. I went past flowers and trees and at times I could smell the very sweet fragrance of the flowers, almost like they were begging me to take a drag of nature instead of a burning ciggy. So, I indulged and experience the explosion of breathing in utter sweetness.

I bet you nicodemon does not like this!! Yay, I'm 57 days without a ciggy now and actually listening to music in my room before going to work. I've not listened to music for so long!!!
