I am officially 3 weeks ( 21 days ) smoke free. Can't believe I got here, but so pleased I did. Still very very hard running this marathon, but onward and upward as they say! Cheers everybody.

Fantastic - keep it up. It does become easier but even at twenty weeks it is still sometimes something I miss. But I can definitely tell that it is becoming an easier addiction to deal with. It is like grief - time is the best healer. But how great when you realise you have gone three days without ever thinking of a cigarette.
Just keep ticking off the days and you'll be fine.

Well done. Good luck on your journey and it has gotten easier for me at over 9 weeks smoke free but there is an occasional crave and you just have to stay strong as all of us here know it is hard but worth it.

Hi Guys, well it's been 33 days, 20hrs and 45 mins smoke free for me. It sure has been a journey this last month, unreal. My mind still tells me every hr or so that I need a smoke, very damn annoying it is, but of course, I deep breathe, and yell at that little voice in my head! My skin has improved so much over the last few days, not as dry and horrible as it was while smoking. I have a daytime cough, coughing up all the nasties accumulated over 44 yrs - gross isn't it! Oh well, I am pleased with myself so far, and hope to continue forever and ever being smoke free! Good luck and best wishes to you all.
