Just hit the thirteen week mark and glad that this was a reason to celebrate. There have been some relatively easy weeks for a couple but the last three days were horrible. It just seems unfair that I can still go through such a bad trot after all this time. I agree with others on this site - there is no 'one size fits all'. We all started smoking for different reasons and we have all decided to quit for different reasons.
What we share here are the frustrations we experience and the wonderful milestones we reach.
I think my top tip today is to re-visit the reasons I decided to quit. Those reasons are why I still put up with horrid cravings (only from time to time) and weight gain. If the ruler of the universe had ever smoked, she would have rewarded the quitters of this world with great sleep, a calm and constant temperament and a reduced appetite.
Good luck to everyone still trudging down the road.
