Smoking images.

I'm now 10 weeks smoke free since my last cigarette and I'm feeling very pleased with myself. If I get a craving and I'm near a computer, I google the words "smoking kills", then I view the images. That's enough for me now wanting to light up. I can also recommend the Nicorette quickmist spray which takes the edge off the need to lighting up.

    Hi Kymba. Congratulations on your quit. U must be proud of yourself. Your definitely on your way to successfully quit smoking. Creating distractions like what your doing, definitely works. I have been smoke-free for over a year now. I am very happy as a non-smoker. Do not miss smoking at all. You can do it. Best wishes!

    My tip for the computer is to have carrot sticks. Cut them up the size of cigarettes and puff on them while your at the computer. I'm still weaning myself.

    Thanks for your support and handy advise Jojie and Penelopejane. I feel pretty good at the moment and my will power is stronger than I thought. I tried the carrot sticks idea this morning but I found them too hard to light. (just kidding). A smoke free environment feels so good right now.

    One of the surprising things is that I no longer feel like an outcast who has to sneak off somewhere to have a smoke because everyone else frowns upon you. I now only know 2 people who smoke. 10 years ago it was more like 20 people.
