Posted in Staying quit 16 Oct 2015

Hi all, I m on day 73 days smoke free! I focus everyday on 30 minutes of walking. I have never in all my life have ever progressed this far in exercising. When I get to a hill I purposely run up the hill. I have way more stamina. I am 55 yrs old and I smoked for over 40 yrs. I am so proud of myself for staying on track. My husband is still smoking and I am hoping, praying that I will set an example for him to quit too. Don't give up, you can do it!

Hi Just do it .congratulations on 73,days . I remember some of your earlier posts so it's great when people keep checking in and you get to see they are still winning. . You have done so well . I just clicked over 100 days and my husband is now on day 45, he waited to make sure I was definitely giving up this time. I inspired my husband and I'm sure you will too . Keep strong and keep posting xxx

    Hi no4me

You can do it, take one day at a time, One moment at a time. A little prayer you can say is ... God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change and the courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference. When you think of having a cigarette just say " I am free" I can do this ... If others can break free from this prison, I can too, I can do it and I will do it.
The best of luck (Love Under Christ's Kindness) to you!
Don t give up, keep going! When you fall get up and try again.
