Feeling like a smoke

Posted in Quit experiences 09 Jan 2015

Buggar! After 5 days being quit I have been feeling like a smoke for the last half an hour!!!! I was working on the computer and it just hit me. I got up did some tidying up and the craving still didn't pass. I had put off having my Nicorette spray until just now because the urge got a bit overwhelming. Feeling a bit better, but still worried I may give in to a cigarette. Motivation levels have dropped a bit and the urge to eat instead of smoking is not good either. Any suggestions??

Craving passed. Still smoke free. I decided to return to the reasons why I wanted to quit and read over some of the posts worked! It can get tough, but I have made a promise that I will never poison my body again. I wish I NEVER smoked in the first place. So disappointed in that respect.

You're doing well. Have you tried using your computer in a different spot, or generally changing the locations where you enjoyed to smoke?

Thanks dragonrose, I'm gradually changing things around and creating different locations compared to where I used to smoke. Just need to train my brain :)
