9 Months

Posted in Hints and tips 10 Feb 2014

Hi everyone,

Just checking in with everyone, hope all is well and people are doing really well in their quit journeys. I have reached the 9 month mark, never again will I return to smoking. My running has improved tremendously so I am happy about that, it feels weird like I do not know where the end of my lungs are..... whereas before I always got the sore feeling at bottom of lungs. It feels like I need to gain control of my breathing in a new way, since quitting I can use more of my lungs and that is taking some getting used too.

Wishing everyone good luck, stay strong everyone!!!

Well done you! I am just checking in after a considerable absence 278 days smoke-free and I know what you are saying about exercise. I do 2 walking sessions a day and I am up to 5Kms a day. I feel fantastic. Good luck to all and stay staunch!
