Day 6

Posted in Quit experiences 23 Aug 2013

Hi, can't believe I made it this far, last time on this site I smoked on day 6 then kept smoking. I'm sure I will make it this time. Cravings were less today. I'm cleaning out car and re washing some clothes to get the smoke smell out yuk. I know some people say go team champix, just want to say go team cold turkeys lol. Does anyone know where that expression originated?

Hang in there Humble. Funny when I quit I had a real problem with getting into smokers'cars. I drowned my car in air fresheners for about a month. I had a dangle one off the mirror, one on the vent and used to spray as well. Of course none of the flavours were exactly the same so it was a hodge podge of smell and in retrospect probably worse than the smoke lol In the car in heavy traffic is the only place smoking crosses my mind now and even then it is only very fleeting.

Well done humble on day six.... you have passed a milestone and are in a excellent head space, cleaning and washing away the smoke very symbolic to where you are at good for you, thrilled for you. To the future ahead free from the chains of addiction. XXXX
