Day 21

Posted in Quit experiences 26 May 2013

Day 21 / 3 weeks, Yahoo!!

Well the Journey so far has been mostly smooth, I've had a few full on cravings, But hey we've got to expect that.

I bought some Nicorette gum, I figure when the Cravings are really bad and Im stressing about it,Its better to have some gum than light a ciggie. But apart from that Im on patches and that work great..

The majority of the time though, I forget about smoking and the fact that im giving up or kicked the habit. And then Whammo that ugly nasty old Nicotine Monster comes from no-where, unexpectantly and then you've got world war 3 going on inside your head, lol. Yeap Crazy...

But slow and steady Im going along this journey, Each day is a new smoke free beautiful day and my mission at the moment is to " just not smoke today" ( and the next day and the next etc ).

So good luck to you all, stay strong strong and we can reach a our  long term goal of a new smoke free life ... xx

Keep it up Gammy. Well done. I too have taken some nicorette tablets (6 yrs old) but they still work in between the patches to combat my cravings. I am now on day 87 and am feeling fine. I am not as teary now which is good. Each day gets better and better. Stick with it and we will keep backing you all the way.

Well done 21 day's smoke free good for you. I have had a few cravings today was the worst but got through. Have a sore throat, but all to be expected, but three fays smoke free, now so happy day's. I like that idea of focusing just on the day or even hours or situations, breaks it up,easier to handle. Stay strong keep posting ...
