Champix finished yesterday

Hey Guys - today I am day 69 smoke free, but I am nervous because today is my first day without champix. I did the full 3 month program. Will I go back to smoking because the nicotine receptors in my brain are no longer blocked? Will I start sleeping better, and will my constipation end - please?

why don't you take some movicol you can get it at the chemist that will get you going and now all the nicotine has left your body you should be fine, but if you are not you can get another script for champix. if you feel you need it well enjoy your smoke-free life.

    Hi Leighdo13

Well done and keep up the good work. As for your constipation have you upped your fruit and veggie intake? Sometimes more fibre will be what is needed. Why not try the warm milk at night before bed, I remember as a kid having this to help me sleep. You got to give anything a try so it can't hurt.

I sometimes think how I will go once I have finished my course of the patches, but you know what? I think I will do fine as I keep saying to myself how much better I feel being a non smoker and I do not miss that bad smokers cough I used to have. Be positive and don't think about the nicotine.

    Cheers
