Hi Rogannie - I am only on day 17 but the few times that I have been really pushed to the edge of that smoke by stress, it has been those first few days after I stopped smoking that has stopped me these times, because I can think of nothing worse than having to go through that again. Maybe that will help - or even EAT. You can lose a couple of kilos later - it is better than losing your life. And I know - I also smoked for 35 years, 2 packs a day. Some days I really battle and other days are better. Still taking 1 day at a time. Good Luck and hang in there, you have come so far, don't fold now!!!

Hi Rogannie, after many goes to stop smoking, this time I do not count the days I tiopped ( 28 days) because you did not count the days you did smoke. I use 1/2 a nicorette gum to get me over the biggest craving (stress) and tell my slf tht no matter how manyu cigarettes I would smoke the stress (shit) would be still the same. Just stay with it, you can do it and it is worth it BELIEVE IN YOURSELF.:)

You can go for a walk to reduce stress. It helps and has become a habit. Keeps me fit and feeling good all the time. I will start jogging soon and will be part of my lifestyle now and in the future. You won't want to smoke again after this.
