When I am Tempted

Although its only been 3 days for me i wanted to share that for me when im tempted i come on here and read firstly how much money i will save, then read other peoples journey's & story''s it makes me feel stronger knowing there are other people out there going through the same kinda of thing. the other thing is i have cut back on my coffee cosumption, coffee & smokes especially in the morning and at night was when i enjoyed them.

    Interesting that you have cut back on coffee. Recently read up on nicotine and one of the things it does is increase the rate at which you metabolise caffeine. The same amount of caffeine without nicotine will have double the effect. Although I've gone cold turkey I haven't really managed to cut back on coffee. I suppose that will be next. Do keep checking in - it helps others as well. Cheers.

    Hey CharlyGirl - my day 2 smoke-free. I am 35 hours along. I even managed to stay away with my wine last night. Just get past that mornong smoke and then you won't feel like you have broken your 'diet' before you start the day. Good luck for day 3.

    I think I drank lots of coffee to help hide the taste of smoking. water never did only having maybe 3 to 4 cups a day instead of 6 to 7.

    I think about smoking too when im in the middle of doing something like i'l b okay I just have a smoke and by the time I finish that the other thing will b ready..i a still doing that but of course I stop and say you don't

    Hey CharlyGirl - your Day 4, my Day 3. Hope you are still going strong. Am a bit worried about you because you have been posting everyday and there is nothing today. I cannot believe I have even made it this far. I am not going back.

    hi..ive been out all day, dropping my daughter at childcare then at the gym, post office, back home, back to the post office, shops, then work, then back to child care then home, then getting ready to do it all again..don't know where I found the time to wanted one today, but it past pretty fast, all I do now is think about my daughter, then my health. never give up on giving up.
