It gets easier with time and our acceptance of change. We adapt with new activities, and a new mindset. We are free of the albatross and should definitely be grateful for that alone. Understanding that smoking was a crutch, a habit and and addiction and did absolutely nothing good for us can make it easier to leave it in the past.

Congratulations on your first 5 weeks smoke-free. Keep up the positive thinking and enjoy the freedom!

Hi Lynda, there is no good reason to smoke. No one needs to smoke. You are starting find the pleasures that not smoking brings and there are many more pleasures to come.. Embrace it....even the rough patches"
    So worth it
