    Welcome Enza.

Congratulations on making your decision to to give up smoking. Really you are giving up nothing, as smoking really did nothing for any of us. We were addicted and duped and came to believe lies to justify our smoking.

Many of us here have been addicted to nicotine for decades and we never believed that we could ever quit. Seeing and believing made it possible for me and many others. There is lots of support and knowledge here if you spend time wisely and learn through our writings. You may even find the link to Allan Carr's e-book which is FREE.

The right mindset truly makes quitting smoking easier and he is the master.
Let us know if we can be of help.

I can only say, read, read, read from this site on a daily basis. You could be a great example for your 5 year old. Get your mind into stopping this addiction of yours. I am still somewhat of a newbie but I think if I can do it, anyone can!

Happiness always has some helpful words to say. I would suggest just looking at older posts and zero in on what Happiness has to say. Use the search tool.

Set the date and just STOP and don't look back. You can do this. You can take control back. Don't let the addiction control you!

You have come to the right community. Oh,... and welcome to this community. Read often, write often. It is all therapeutic. Best wishes on your quit.
