I had a mild stroke 12 mobths ago and then covid happened, however as we approach the end of lockdown I realise there is still much more I would like to do in life. Both my children have now left home so now it is my time to shine.

    Welcome Oceangirl.
I can relate as I was thankful to regain my left side after my recent stroke, and feel that my quitting smoking a year prior may have attributed to my recovery . We were lucky and had warning to make changes, beats the alternative doesn't it.
Looking at things in the positive way is much more helpful, and encouraging than taking a negative view.
We are stronger than nicotine, and we can change when we want to.

Desire change, success and health. Know that it is possible, and maybe not even as hard as you think. Put the mind to work in your favour rather than against you. The glass is still half full........
