So hard

Hi I am finding it so hard to give up the smokes I really want to but just do t have the will power as soon as I answer the phone I go for the dam smokes if I drive and sit in traffic I seem to light up a smoke any ideas on how I can get pass this I really need to give up

    you really need to get them in the bin. whilst they are there with you you don't stand a chance

    You could stop buying them!
    Spiderbait suggests throwing them out and not having them around you. I say that you need to put some distance between your last one to your next one!
    When you are serious about QUITTING.
    Your next Smoke doesnt happen..

    While nicotine is the addictive substance, quitting smoking also involves a change of thinking.
    Changing a habit takes 21 days. Change your routine so that you are not smoking in your car or on the phone...... Smoke when you want but read and learn and think of them in a different way.
    They are like meds. Do you enjoy taking meds: Do you want to take them forever or get off of them? We only think we need them and enjoy them because of the cravings if we don't light up. They are the cause of misery, not an end to.
    How much have they cost you in terms of health and wealth in the past?
    What will be the price you cough up in the future. At what cost?

    Take your fix in private. You can smoke, just you and it. Taste it. Smell it. Think about it. See how much time it takes, how boring, how senseless. Change how you think of smoking and quitting can be easy.. Want to be a non-smoker, Believe you can and you will.

    You probably won't follow this advice. but mindset is everything.

    Get a e smoke that helps me when I’m under pressure it might help you. And I have must sticks beside me when I’m on the phone. Don’t worry it is hard

    What kind of helpful advice is that Katiegirl Smoking does not relieve stress, it creates it. Finacial problems and Health problems as you well know! We want to break habits and gain our freedom, not chain ourselves to other unhealthy things.

    i smoked 1 packet a day 30"stried for a long time then went to my doctor he put me on CHAMPIX
    prescription tablet the first week only had a couple smokes a day, then second week i smoke a day after a coffee waking up but the 2nd/ 3rd week the tablets are taking away the craving for nicotine so its just a mind game now you dont need it i keep saying to myself and its working have not smoked for 3 days now { note it's in the head that saying you need it but i can switch off now
