Posted in Reasons to quit 19 Apr 2021

Hi everyone hope you are all well and smile free.

I have completely fallen back into the trap

As they say you can't have 1 without having another and another and before you no it your back to smoking.

It's 9.12pm and I am about to smoke my last 1 from tomorrow on start the journey and be smoke free.

I no what to expect.

I have decided to walk 5k a day and get my health back on track.

Its an awful drug addiction plays with the mind something serious but im ready for it.. 👊👊🚭🚭

Hello there Gemma, one good thing, you have jumped back on your horse, now you have to lead it somewhere. Even though you have failed before, you can make it permanent this time, by putting that Mantra into your mind every day for as many times as you need to. NOPE (not one puff ever} worked for me it can work for you too. Put it on your phone to remind you, or write it out somewhere, but say it loud or say it quietly to yourself this will keep your mental focus onto your commitment. As happiness suggested, work gradually up to 5k... You can do it NOPE (not one puff ever)

Happiness yes indeed i did try 5k before and yes you are right i couldn't move the next day 🤣
Thanks for your support i am as of now a none smoker.
I read stories every morning as soon as I open my eyes it gives me motivation for that day nor to smoke.
1 day at a time I've learnt not to worry to much about the future just day by day.

Walking will give you something else to do, and feel great about yourself. That in turn will give you more confidence that you can do this. Work up to that 5k. Just like exercise, try too hard and you can't move the next day to continue as planned.
Quitting smoking is a mind game. Just as in walking.....Set your mind to it and the body will follow.
