Hi Kishlee. Read our stories to keep distracted and learn why you are missing out on nothing, and how embracing the quit will make things go easier. Any distraction from the craving is good. Make a phone call or play a game, just deep breaths helps immensely. Just don't debate the issue with the devil. Set your mind firmly in direction you are determined to take and don't second guess yourself. We are stronger than nicotine, and we can be free!

Welcom Kiahlee, you are way ahead with how you are going to deal with this, but make this your last time. Practice NOPE (not one cigarette ever) every day for as many times as you like. Plenty of deep breathing in and slow breath out is of course one of the best things.

You now need to learn new things to keep yourself happy and motivated make a list of what you might like to do and cross them out as you go; make sure every night you think of one thing that you enjoyed during your day, soon that list will become so full your wake up day is already won.

Keep in touch and read or post, we have new ones on board to help you too.

Well, you can try to distract yourself, or you can just make that smoke something you just don't WANT. Let yourself see just the truth, about being addicted to smoking. The health, the money, the time, and the slavery, of letting a cigarette run your life. Then, it can be very easy to just not want it any more. Quitting can be as easy as you make it. :)
