Don't take this the wrong way but you really should be quitting for yourself. I found (and am finding) quitting to be mostly just overcoming thoughts in your head.
Be positive, think of the reasons you want to quit and have absolute confidence in yourself that you can and will quit for those reasons and more. Your family benefitting from you quitting is just one of those reasons. You can do it, just have faith in yourself 😉😊

I couldn't have said it better myself Normm.
One has to start with the DESIRE to be smoke free more than the desire to smoke. Read, learn and BELIEVE that you can achieve this kind of mindset. After all, smoking, rather nicotine is just an addiction and brainwashing to excuse ourselves from liability. We are proof that nicotine has no control on us once we make up our minds. The mind is a powerful thing.
Change your mind and change the future.

Sarahrose, has made two posts, the first one I answered, because we were given more of a background on her thinking of family members. Of course you need to do it for yourself, but unhappy circumstances deserve more thought.
