Sick of being a slave

Hi all,
There are so many reasons to quit, from health to the wallet.
My main reason to quit is that addiction is a form of slavery. I don't smoke because I enjoy it or want to, I smoke only because I feel the need to do so.
After a few hours without being able to have a smoke I always started feeling uncomfortable. I don't want to feel that again. I want to feel as at ease and relaxed as non smokers.
Thanks for listening:)

Thanks for posting Cassietempe, as we learn from each other as well as lend support. Knowing you have something to gain in taking on a venture definitely makes it easier. WANTING the end result, not fearful of it, or feeling like you are missing out.
When we realize that we just made excuses to cover the fact that we were addicted to nicotine , when we can face the truths then we have empowered ourselves. We can break the addiction.
We only enjoyed a cigarette for the relief of the discomfort (craving) that nicotine itself was the cause of. We need to break the cycle and say Enough!
Only the tobacco companies and the government through taxation were benefitting by our weakness. We can find the determination and desire to quit smoking and lining their pockets. It's time to really enjoy our money, health and foamily.
