No more cigarettes!

Posted in Getting started 03 Jan 2021

I have finally decided to quit smoking! If i don’t do it now it will never happen. I am 27 years old and have been smoking for about 8 years now. As well as quitting smoking i need to attempt to change all my bad habits where i will drink wine and smoke and this has become something i look forward to a little bit too much.

If anyone has any tips for me on how to break this habit please share!! I am only on day 2 and already nervous that i cant do it.

Welcome Annie. I am sure we all felt as you do starting out. If you read our stories and find the belief that you will overcome these feelings, and learn that you can quit, will! Don't be afraid of the change, but welcome it with open heart and mind. Think about all the good changes to come. Saving money, smelling better, getting healthier are only the tip of the iceberg. We understand how we can to smoke, how it is addiction. Nicotine is a horrible drug and it came to rule us!

We don't like anyone to tell us what to do, yet we let nicotine control us. Keep us broke. Steal or future security, health and happiness.

We can regain health, freedom and our self confidence!

We took back control and you can too.

Hi Annie and welcome. Like all addicts it starts one day at a time.....stay focused on your goal and get through one day, then repeat and repeat. If you want to quit more than you want to will succeed. Positive thinking and embracing the quit is very Important. Go girl ..... you can do this
