Challenges faced

Posted in Staying quit 21 Oct 2020

Thank you for the support on this forum. Just a quick update on my circumstances.

No I did not smoke or have a drink despite great urges to do so. Am proud of that. Instead I vented on this forum and the responses were so supportive. I read them a few times over. Thank you. I also rang a friend. In short I’ve ended up with two job offers both are quite exciting and fulfilling work. Life will always have its ups and downs. It’s how we meet those challenges that makes all the difference. I learnt a lot about myself with my quitting journey and that is I’m pretty resilient.

Have a wonderful day everyone.

Great news Charki, and you have indeed found one of your strengths already - Resilience. It is amazing how we bounce back. NOPE (not one puff ever) no matter what. You are welcome to come back anytime.
